OBJECTIVES

  • To operate and manage welding parameters correctly.
  • To prepare the edges of the pieces and align them properly based on thickness.
  • To observe and control the molten pool, adjust the welding speed, and master torch handling.
  • To perform adequate filler metal deposition during different passes.
  • To weld plates flat, end-to-end, and at angles.
  • To know and apply hygiene and safety regulations.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS

No prerequisites.

Your welding equipment must be fitted for the chosen process, in perfect working condition, with all necessary consumables for the training, including welding materials according to specifications.

Your facilities must have sufficient ventilation to perform welding work, according to SUVA standards.

No flammable materials or gases should be near the welding area.

The workspace must be clean and organized.

Participants must bring their own personal protective equipment: work clothes, safety shoes, welding jacket, gloves, and welding mask.Otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate in the training until equipped.

Anyone wishing to improve their skills in MAG, MIG, MMA, TIG, or oxy-acetylene processes.
