CHALLENGES

• Introduction to welding gas
• Be able to properly weld plate assemblies at flat angles (PB) and butt (PA), with the different gases

OBJECTIVES

• Commissioning and knowing how to correctly manage the parameters of the welding machine according to the different gases.
• Prepare the edges of the parts and point them correctly according to the thickness
• Observe and control the melt pool, adapt the welding speed, control the resistance of the torch
• Carry out an adequate deposit of the filler metal during the various passes and gases. Weld plates flat butt and at angles.
• Know and apply the rules of health and safety.

• Practical demonstrations, preparations of welded joints
• Practical demonstrations, butt and angle welding, in different positions
• Individual exercises with continuous assistance from the trainer

Anyone wishing to improve their skills in the field of welding and its gases.

Continuous corrections and feedback from the trainer

RECOGNITION

• Certificate of participation (minimum attendance of the candidate at 90% of the training)
• The participant must bring personal personal protection: safety shoes, welding jacket, gloves and welding mask.
• Otherwise, he must either equip himself at his own expense before the start of the course at our shop, or rent for the duration of the course (Fr. 50.-) equipment consisting of a jacket, a pair of gloves and an automatic welding helmet.
