Content

Discovery of different welding processes. Welding flat plate assemblies and adjusting welding parameters for joint and butt welds.

OBJECTIVES

Understanding different welding processes for further training.

  • To set up and properly manage the parameters of the welding station.
  • Prepare the edges of the parts and correctly tack weld based on thicknesses.
  • Observe and control the molten pool, adjust the welding speed, and master the torch handling.
  • Perform appropriate deposition of filler metal during various passes. Weld flat plates end-to-end and at angles.
  • Know and apply hygiene and safety rules.

CONTENT

  • Presentation of the premises.
  • Hygiene and safety.
