Challenge
Discover a welding process.
Be able to create assemblies of plates or tubes end to end.
OBJECTIVES
Discover a welding process, either TIG, MIG, MAG, MMA, or oxy-acetylene.
Adjust welding parameters based on thicknesses worked on and welding positions.
Prepare the edges of the parts and correctly tack them according to thicknesses.
Weld assemblies of plates and tubes end to end in different positions.
Apply hygiene and safety rules.
CONTENT
Presentation of the premises. Hygiene and safety. Materials, equipment, standards, gases. Individual practical exercises on plates in angle and end to end. Practical demonstrations, end-to-end welding and flat angle welding. Continuous trainer assistance.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
No prerequisites.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Any welder wishing to discover a process.
EXAMINATION
Ongoing corrections and feedback from the trainer.
RECOGNITION
Certificate of participation (minimum attendance of 90% of the training).
Participants must bring their personal protective equipment: work clothes, safety shoes, welding jacket, gloves, and welding mask.
Otherwise, they must either equip themselves at their expense before the course starts at our store or rent, for the duration of the course (CHF 80), equipment consisting of a jacket, a pair of gloves, and an automatic welding mask.
