Brazing flat plate assemblies and adjusting welding parameters at angles (PB)

OBJECTIVES

Discovery of different brazing processes with a view to complementary training.

Commissioning the torch and being able to correctly manage its parameters.

Prepare the edges of the parts and assemble them correctly according to thicknesses. Observe and control the fusion bath, adapt brazing speed, master torch handling. Carry out appropriate deposition of filler metal during passes.

Braze flat plates at angles.

Know and apply hygiene and safety rules.

CONTENT

Presentation of the facilities.

Hygiene and safety.

Materials, equipment, standards, gases.

Practical demonstrations, preparation of brazed joints.

Brazing at angles and with shoulder. Individual exercises with continuous support from the instructor

No prerequisites

TARGET AUDIENCE

Persons wishing to discover the different brazing processes.

EXAMINATION

Continuous corrections and comments from the instructor

RECOGNITION

Certificate of participation (candidate attendance of at least 90% of the training)

The participant must bring their own personal protective equipment: safety shoes, welding jacket, gloves and brazing glasses.

Otherwise, they must either equip themselves at their own expense before the start of the course with us, or rent for the duration of the course (CHF 80.-) equipment consisting of a jacket, a pair of gloves and a pair of brazing glasses.
