CHALLENGES

  • Welding Improvement
  • Be able to properly weld flat plate assemblies and set welding parameters at angles (PB) and butt (PA)

OBJECTIVES

  • Preparation of apprentices for examinations, improvement of welding technique.
  • Commissioning and knowing how to properly manage the parameters of the welding machine.
  • Prepare the edges of the parts and point them correctly according to the thickness
  • Observe and control the melt pool, adapt the welding speed, control the resistance of the torch
  • Carry out an adequate deposit of the filler metal during the various passes.
  • Weld plates flat butt and at angles. Know and apply the rules of health and safety.

  • Practical demonstrations, preparations of welded joints
  • Practical demonstrations, butt and angle welding, in different positions
  • Individual exercises with continuous assistance from the trainer

No prerequisites

TARGET AUDIENCE

Apprentices wishing to improve their skills in the field of welding

REVIEW

Continuous corrections and feedback from the trainer

RECOGNITION

Certificate of participation (minimum attendance of the candidate at 90% of the training)

EQUIPMENT

  • The participant must bring personal personal protection: safety shoes, welding jacket, gloves and welding mask.
  • Otherwise, he must either equip himself at his own expense before the start of the course at our shop, or rent for the duration of the course (Fr. 80.-) equipment consisting of a jacket, a pair of gloves and an automatic welding helmet.
