Preparation for an ISO 9606 certification

ADMISSION CONDITIONS

• Have completed the basic course on the same welding process to be used for the certification.
• Or have completed training equivalent to the basic course.

• Preparation for the welder’s certification on the selected process.

OBJECTIVES

Prepare for a welding certification in MAG, MIG, MMA, TIG or oxy-acetylene processes.

CONTENT

• Briefing at our premises
• Health and safety
• Perform the required welds in the presence of the instructor for certification purposes.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS

• Welder who has completed the basic course and the advanced course (on the same process) and who has sufficient knowledge and practice to present themselves for certification.
• Welder already certified who wishes to recertify.
• Must be in possession of an identity document.

TARGET AUDIENCE

• Anyone wishing to prepare for a certification on the MAG, MIG, MMA, TIG or oxy-acetylene processes.

EXAMINATION

• ISO 9606 certification must be booked separately.
• Conducted in the presence of an expert.
• Participants must bring their personal protective equipment: overalls, safety shoes, welding jacket,gloves and welding mask — or rent them on site for CHF 50 for the duration of the certification.
• Otherwise, they will not be allowed to take part in the certification until properly equipped.
